OpenFOAM
OpenFOAM は、ESI グループ傘下のOpenCFD社がOpenFOAM Foundationを通じてリリースしている完全オープンソースプログラム群です。数値流体力学(CFD)プログラムとして知られていますが、流体にとどまらず空間に分布したデータの動き全てを対象としています。C++により、多くの物理モデルがライブラリ化され、新たなモデルや理論からのオリジナルソルバーを開発する基礎としても秀逸です。多くのユーザーやコミュニティーが開発に携わり、今や流体にとどまらず社会現象にいたるまで適用範囲を広げています。
